Spotted a baggage figure that no longer matches the airline's official page? That is exactly the kind of report that keeps this database trustworthy.
How corrections work
Compare the figure on the airline guide here with the airline's current official baggage page (every guide links to it). If the official page has changed, the figure here is queued for re-verification against that page and the "Policy checked" date is updated when the correction is published.
Before you travel, always treat the airline's own page — linked at the bottom of every guide — as the final word, especially for fees, which change most often.
What a useful correction report includes
The fastest corrections come with three things: the airline and the exact figure in question, the figure now shown on the airline's official page, and the date you saw it. Screenshots of the official page help even more, because some airline pages show different content by region — the same policy can legitimately display different fees in different markets, and knowing which market you saw tells us which version to record.
Corrections are never applied from third-party blogs, forums or other baggage sites, however plausible they look: the change has to be visible on the airline's own page first. That rule is slower, and it is also the reason the rest of the database can be trusted. Where an airline's own pages disagree with each other — it happens more often than you would expect — we record the figure from the dedicated baggage policy page and note the discrepancy in our audit trail.
How fast corrections land
Verified corrections are published with the site's next scheduled policy re-check rather than one at a time, so the checked date on a guide always reflects a full re-read of the official page — not a spot edit. If a figure here disagrees with the airline's page today, plan your packing by the airline's page: it is the one the check-in desk will use.
Everything else
For booking changes, refunds, special assistance or anything about a specific flight, only the airline can help — we are an independent guide, not a travel agent, and we cannot see or change bookings. The airline's official site, linked from every guide here, is the right destination for those questions.
