Norwegian Checked Baggage Allowance
Checked (hold) baggage included with every Norwegian fare brand, plus the rules that decide what happens at the airport — from the official policy, checked 30 October 2026.
| Fare / class | Checked baggage allowance |
|---|---|
| LowFare | No bags included |
| LowFare+ | 1 x 23 kg included |
| Flex | 2 x 23 kg included |
Each bag min 2 kg, max 32 kg; total checked weight max 74 kg; each bag max 300 cm total (L+H+W). Bags can be added up to 4 hours before departure.
Weight concept or piece concept?
Norwegian uses the weight concept: your checked allowance is a total weight that you can spread across bags, subject to the per-bag safety limit. The table below shows the allowance for each fare brand.
In plain terms
Reading the table from the cheapest fare up: with LowFare you can check No bags included; with LowFare+ you can check 1 x 23 kg included; with Flex you can check 2 x 23 kg included. Anything beyond the line for your own fare is charged under the excess rules, so the fare you booked — not the one you nearly booked — is the one that decides what you pay at the desk.
